Had a fun day 9-16-01 in Tenmile, Oregon with three local clubs, just to B.S and have a good time. These are from a slow speed short course that had tight corners and off camber obstacles. You started with 0 points and gained points for hiting stakes, backing up,and killing the engine. The high hood with the green rollcage was the only one with a perfect score (which was zero). what is a "high hooder". I noticed the hood has taller sides but is that a factory thing or just a result of a fancy body lift to put a bigger motor in?? I like them but what's the difference between a "high hooder" and a "low hooder"??

CJ3Bs are high-hooders, yes, it's a factory thing. Don't qoute me on it, but I am inclined to say they have the extra engine room because of the different engine with a bigger head/intake that stuck up? I don't really know for sure. I should be in bed... <IMG SRC="smilies/sleep.gif" border="0">

The first flatfenders were low hoods. Then later on they came up with a different engine and needed more hood clearance so the high hood was born.
