I'm hoping to get some advice. I used my f250 w 351 (90k) to tow a car from Reno to Tahoe. It ran fine and pulled well. I get to my daughters soccer game, park and 2 hours later it would not start. Turns over real strong, I switched tanks, tried ether (barely caught with it, did not seem right). It was getting dark so I had it towed to a shop.
Does the 87 351 have a module that will just die like the mid 80's 302s?
Thanks for any input.

YOu need to check for spark or fuel
Fords eat the TFI to stop spark, but F-searies with dual tanks, eat the selector valve as well

Injected? fuel pump relay? Is your dist loose and turn on you? Did you check for spark at all? Also check for fuel pumping or fuel pressure.

Thanks for the replies. It turned out to be a blown fusible link from a short caused by rubbing the insulation off.
Thanks,
