Can't afford a new set of the ones I want yet, but was hoping for some feedback on a decision I'm trying to make. I have a choice between the following two wheel/tire combinations for my '04 silverado 2500, which do you think would be best for performance and looks?
-Brand new set 33" R16.5 BFG Mud Terrain
or
-50% used set 315/75 R16 Cooper All Terrains
Plan on doing 90% street, 10% trail
Thanks in advance

we pop one new cooper tire at last race when we where prerunning in a chase truck. and they only had like 200 miles on them. I would go with mud better

Go with the bfg's. Isn't a 315/75/16 a 35"?

yes, so I would sit 2" shorter right?

comparing a bfg to a cooper, you probably wouldnt even notice the size difference, coopers tend to run a little small from the experience I have had, you may notice 1/2" or so but nothing major
Coopers have a better warranty & outlast BFG's in my experience.
But, if one tire is a 16 & the other a 16.5, only one of your choices will actually fit the rims you HAVE.

i would be switching both tires and rims

if switching rims, go with a 16" rim because the 16.5 tires are getting harder to find and expensive.
