so im trying to sell some 880's that were on my truck when I bought it but everyone wants to know how much they'll lift there truck. What is it? 2" I have no idea. 96 reg 4cly if you wanna no

880s are good for about .5" on a v6 and 1" on the 2.7 there is an early OME coil chart somewhere in the ttora FAQ section.

Sorry man about being wrong about the coils. I shouldn't think all OME stuff is the complete kit.


I already have the 2.5" OME lift with the 882's. By the way I think the kits really are made for 4cylinders engines since mine really sags with just a front bumper.

they were originally made for a completely different vehicle (Prado)...never for the Tacoma, regardless of engine. OME's figure of 1.5" of lift for the 881 is based on the average v6 excab Taco, however. So, figure a little more lift for the lighter trucks and a little less for the heavier Dcabs.

the "kits" can be ordered with any of the 3 springs but the most common are the 881 and 882s for the early Tacos.
