So I bought a trailer with plans to clean it up.
However, I can not find any info on the brakes. When I got them apart I found 12X2 on a 4 bolt flange.
I was shocked to see 4 bolts on the backing plate. I figured I would find 12x2 on a 5 bolt flange.

See Link.

Anyone got any ideas?

Either that or kelsey-hayes.

I had axles similar to that, only the backing plates were welded on. I just ended up swapping the axles out, but since you have a bolt on flange I'de go find new backing plates form a mainstream manufacturer, go to 8 lug drums and refresh it all.

Depending on vintage and where those axles came from finding spare parts may be hit and miss.
