The connector coming off the solenoid has two leads and is shaped like a "T".

Is + the cross of the T or the vertical part of the T?

They leave this little detail out of the instructions <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

I don't know for sure what you are talking about since it has been 4 years since I have messed with my ARB solenoid and I didn't use the harness since I have my own OBA system.

Usually, the solenoid is just a 12V DC coil so it really doesn't matter which is + or -. As long as one side gets + 12Vdc and the other side gets grounded, it will turn on.----the ARB one may be different

Eric - You guessed correctly.

I'm not using ARBs compressor or harness either, since I've got a homegrown OBA.

I'm hooking up the solenoid/air-switches that come with the lockers.

I *assumed* it could be wired either way, but wanted to be sure.

tnx,
