I was fortunate enough to be a part of the work crew on Saturday We had a good turn-out (about 35 workers) and put in a full day. Most of the crew worked on revegitation and our group (about 8) worked on building frames for a cement crossing at Water Bar 27. We got a lot accomplished in one day.

I met a lot of great people, many from the Hi-Lo's. Special thanks to Iceman for the ice-cold at the end of the day. You Rock!

I want to expesss my thanks to all of you that participated on the work weekend last month. You guys and gals did a great job! The work you performed looks great.

There's talk from Placer County of maybe having another work day within the next month. They will notify us by way of the FOTR web site www.friendsoftherubicon.com (http://www.friendsoftherubicon.com) of the proposes dates.

Yeah- this workday was planned to be on a smaller scale. The first group really Got it Awn and completed most of the work. That's not to say we didn't work our a$$es off, we did! And had fun doing it
