studhorse_3 08-27-2007, 11:37 PM I have a 94 S-10 blazer that has the 4.3 and had an automatic transmission. I'm putting this into a 94 Toyota pickup that has been completely gutted (Just a cab and frame). I'm putting a th350 behind the 4.3, I'm going to use the fuel injection setup, but was wondering if i have to obtain a different ECM? Will I need a Manual trans ECM to get the truck to run correctly because of the VSS? You can have this ECM programmed for a manual instead of automatic transmission. PCMAMERICA.com offers services for programming and wiring harness mods. They also sell a DIY type wiring harness kit to convert the wiring harness to a stand alone type setup.
