i have a blazer with a 241 t case and am planning on doing a doubler with it, i was thinking that i could use a dana 300 behind the 241, but will the 300 hold up to a 350 with a 700r4 behind it? or do i need to go with a 205 as the rear case?

Many people run an NP231/241 INTO a D300 without any ill affects. Also many people feed a 4:1 Klune into a D300. If your concerned you could swap to front and rear HD outputs on the D300 in time (suggested). What year is your Blazer? Driver drop or pass.? I am assuming it is an earlier Blazer with pass. drop.

it will hold up as long as you drive smart and don't abuse it. You could also get rid of the 241 and just use the dana 300 and put 4-1 gears in it. Thats would i am doing, the dana 300 bolts right up to the 700R4 without needing an adaptor.

could aways go 203/205,or run a plain d300 w/ the 4:1 low.
