We have a problem with a friends H1. He has mounted a WARN 1200 front winch and the front springs havd sagged 2 inches. We need them back.
What springs can we use to get the front to original height?
Thanks
Eduardo:)
a set of winch springs would do the trick...although they are pretty pricey.
IMO if you had to swap it all out...id buy the suspension lift kit from bluehummer as it comes with newer/longer front springs (adding 2" of lift) and spacers for the rear springs.
overall that cost aint much more than buyin a new set of OEM winch springs.

I'll second the blue hummer spring set. New AMG winch springs run about 300$ each. I know I'll have to upgrade my springs eventually when I put on a warn 12000.

Call Chad Hall, with Rod Hall Products. He does a ton of work with custom H1 springs, primarily military stuff. He would sell you a nice set of front springs, much better than production springs.
He is pre running the Baja 1000 right now, but will be back in a week. Call Chad at 775-324-2678

Eduardo:)I hope you meant a 12000 lb winch and it weighs, what, 120 lbs? 150 tops? The springs sank two inches with that weight?
