Anyone know what t-case came stock in a 78 F150 with a 4 speed? It looks like it has a mount on the top on the drivers side.

I belive it is an NP205.... mine had a mount that went to the drivers side frame. ... My brothers 205 had the same thing...... The only other t case that i know of that came with those trucks are the NP203 which is a Full time chain drivin case.

if it's a granny low it could be the d21. 2 or 4 , no low. but it's tiny compared to a 205 so it should be easy to tell em apart.

It is not a 20 or 21. I'm just not that familiar with the other Ford cases. I'm hoping it's a 205 just not sure.

i just parted a 78 bronco out and it was a np435 to 205 so id say yes 205 unless the truck had drive flanges in the front axle for full time then it would be 203:D
