Sorry for the x-post, but I thought this is cool...

Purrdy neat eh? I was having clearance problems on the right side of my cheby D60...I want to use a bush at the axle end. With my 2.5" coil-overs, I was having problems with making everything fit (hy-steer, coil-over, bush, housing) As it was I was dangerously close to having the upper link bracket hitting the frame-rail on full stuff (in line with the outside edge of my frame-rail). They measure 1.25" wide...And will fit a 3/4" bolt...5/8ths with sleeve. Nice.

O'yea...They're from Avalanche (and don't bother calling...I got the last two). :flipoff2:

Won't break like a hiem.

3/4" NF RH thread.

Accepts a 5/8" bolt.

part # 910-02090............$12.95

Cool and all but only really good for dealing with clearance issues, there isnt enough rubber to do much good. i will use big bushing to get the full benifit of actually having rubber.

so what are the strength specifications on those rubber heims. It looks to me that if you put enough side ways load "from an angle you can see through the hole" it might spit out or deform the bushing. just my .02

12.95 gets you a junk mild steel housing rod end with a junk 80 darameter bushing shoved in it. 9.95 gets you the same thing without the bushing. Don't want it to brake....buy a good rod end. (exception to use crap. when the part brakes and there is no chance your poor planning will kill someones family)

happy trails,
