Q78's came in.

Here they are mounted. Firewall is already tubbed, and started trimming the fenders (just enough to daily drive, and snow bash right now). Still a little more 'fitting' to do.

I almost bought that toyota a few months ago :D that was before i got my Heep

I traded he kid my 88 Celica All-Trac for it; I'm starting to think he got the better end of the deal... my car had ZERO rust and this truck has LOTS of rust to inlude both sides of the frame by the front shackles... and floors... and cab corners. The wiring was covered in duct tape for miles, some grounds were burned inside the cab and those 35s are bald, but I have 37s now. The rear pinion angle was terrible due to 6 degree shims installed backwards. Steering turns more to the right than left, the IFS box is welded to the frame and the windshield wasn't sealed too well; there was about 1/2 tube of orange RTV around it.

But it's locked and has a winch... a good start at any rate. I'm changing out the front axle to a 5.29/IFS brakes/Lok-Rite/hi-steer soon; then selling the current 4.11/locked/IFS/hi-steer to get a matching 5.29/Detroit for the rear.

It's getting better; the rust is repaired now.

Yes this is an actual trail. Slopes off arroyo and with heavy snow fall this year it washed out most of it, plus very few people run it. I have never heard of LA Sals, not too sure where that is. The mountains in the background would be those of Truchas Peak.
Last picture was taken at local trails out in El Rancho, NM. Its really more of playground type area. One of those places that, "It is what you make it" sorts of area.
