my dad has a 92 rodeo with v6 its a pretty stripped model. anyway, his rear axle is trashed, thinking his housing might be bent. What is the rear axle under this thing and what else would be a good replacement? thanks, I dont know anything about these rigs..

Other than they ride like stiff buckboards, not much.
But one possibly useful tidbit, if you are going pick and pull shopping: The Honda Passport is a rebadged Rodeo. That will maybe double the likely suspects.

well I did some checking and it sounds like its a 44. I cant see it cause its 40 miles away, (I'm just trying to research this a little). Anyway, if s10 stuff is the same I'll go that route, just cause thats so available.

that model will most likely have the 7.5 gm rearend in it and if it is 4.3 ratio those gears are dealer only and yes s10 has same internals but they dont offer the 4.3 ratio
