This particular SM465 came out of a 1991 1 Ton Truck (similar to the 73-87 body style). My question is, do I use a Master and Slave Cylinder for the body style truck similar to the 95, or do I use the Master and Slave Cylinder from the older body style? Does it even matter as long as the Master and Slave are matched to each other?
Thanks.
By the way, if any of you have a clutch pedal assy. from the 93-98 body style truck, I like to purchase it from you.

dude i just finished this swap.
465/205 from a 78 blazer
i first bought a newer body style 88-98 master and slave and the line is some crazy fitting that no one can buy or make but the dealership and they wanted 250 for just the master and line. plus the master and slave were plastic!!!
so then i went to a 1986 with a manual and the master and slave were metal and the line was redily available at the same parts store via delivery.
i did have to make a new push rod for the slave because i made a bracket much like the one available from novak to hold the slave in place. this pushes the slave back a little bit more than stock so the push rod needs to be longer.
if you have any questions gimmie a pm

If this mystery line is the one I think it is ... hard/rigid plastic shit?.. there is a solution at least on mine there was... at both ends of the stock s10 line were approx 6" of metal before it went to the shit tube I simply cut this and brazed it to some fittings from my work, a friend of mine used brake line flare fittings for the same setup

yeah, thats it, but its a dealer only part down here and i try to keepn the one off custon stuff to a minimum.
but the whole setup from a 86 is available at most stores i checked
I think the 88-93 full size use a bubble style flare. You can get the factory hoses at the auto parts now for these or the fittings to adapt over to regular inverted. My 80 model tow unit uses the 85 up style mc and a slave off a 93 works great with no issues.
