Looks like Kyle has his panties in a wad over nothing!
Another saga into the depths of Kyle van Tassel's rage.
I think they need to start a fund for anger management therapy!
Kyle Fucking grow up!:crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:
I can't believe I read that whole thread :whereistheIwannahangmyselficon:
Old Scout 06-14-2002, 06:43 PM LOL david! I didn't know you ever visted us limey wheelers.
Anyone have a link for the BS there yaking about in this post?
I don't think the Kyles point has anything to do with lifts, axles, big meats or even discos. Fact is nobody likes two faced people. Come here and show stupid pics of your dog and shit, then go somewhere else and talk trash like she did is just wrong. Reminds me of the good 'ol days in elementary school.
Say what you mean and mean what you say. People won't always like you, but they will respect you.

Nothing new there, that site has turned into an all out bitchfest.
Serious One 06-14-2002, 10:27 PM Man, I'm with DRM on the whole 'ican'tbelieveireadthewholefingthread' camp.
The funniest thing about Kyle's automotive 'resume' as it were, is the fact that my next door neighbor is putting a Cadillac big block into an old '70's Ford F150. Now, do I go and ask him advice for how to build my Serious One? Hell no! Do I even tell him that I'm building the 145? Hell no!
Point is, anyone can throw together a car/truck/whateverhaveyou and make it work.
Question is, does it work WELL????
Everytime I pass by the Ford with the fenders off and that shiny Cadillac valve cover looking at me I'm tempted to shoot a pic of it and pass it on to you Scout. Maybe it'll be one of the things I get around to tomorrow.
I could CC it to Kyle! :flipoff2:
later,
Michael
RockRover 06-14-2002, 10:48 PM Yup...Can't believe I read through the whole thing either...Kinda' like looking at a car wreck...Just can't seem to look away.
Can you say, "feel threatened?"

Guess I'm still not over the lawn-chair incident on the D90 list a couple of years ago.
Serious One 06-14-2002, 10:55 PM D eloquently states...
"Kinda' like looking at a car wreck"
I have lots of pictures of those too if you can't get enough from elsewhere.

Man oh man, started looking around over there. I was VERY impressed with some pictures of Craig H. bobtail vehicle there. Here is the link. Curious to see how his bumpers turn out. Maybe I can prevoke a post by Craig for a few more pics?

Serious One 06-14-2002, 11:50 PM Ok, now the bashing on Discoweb has gotten personal.
Some A-hole calling himself/herself Anonymous posts pics taken from the POR board in an effort to show what idiots we are.
He has the nerve to post a pic of Cooper's Series One getting in on during one of the toughest sections of perhaps the hardest trail in the Oregon Coast Range.
He obviously has NO F-ing idea what that truck is, or the fact that he actually is doing some really hard core wheeling at that point. Additionally, he probably has no clue who Cooper is or what it is that he does. It's going to be really funny when he comes to a point where he needs to aquire some of the products/services only Cooper can offer.
What an idiot.
I'd like to be able to say that the rest of them are guilty by association, but I guess I have to wait to see if they incriminate themselves as well as the chicken-shit web-wheeler posting as Anonymous. Come out come out whoever you are!!!!
Michael
(who never f-ing posts as Anonymous, even on Discoweb)

Bobtailed rangie looks awsome. I'm going to make myself one of those one day but I want to be a soft top. Heres a pic of a mate of mines bobtailed rangie ute - got 35in pro comps maxi drives and 110 cvs, goes real well. Sort of along the same lines.

Who gives a fuk?
I go wheeling (on occasion :flipoff2: ), and come across people all the time. I like to shoot the shit about wheelin. If the PBB comes up, they often make comments like... " oh, those guys are hardcore".
Well, yeah. Most of the active participants on this site are here to get (or offer) "advanced" technical help with existing and innovative modifications.
I have a DII and spend time lurking in the Dweb, and guess what? It is conservative and boring... In comparison. You have a nice site and some great people as well as some very good tech info. BUT DON'T TRY TO COMPARE IT TO THE PBB! They cater to two different end-users. Why is there anything wrong with that?
And Kyle, The more you bring it up, the more people will come over hear and find out for themselves! :skull:

redrangie 06-15-2002, 01:06 PM Craig's truck rocks. I have seen that thing since it was stock. We used to work together for a short time. Not only does it look good, but it has a 4.6 in it that runs quite well. (with a B/W btw 9-volt). Kyle could learn a lot from him. He doesn't ever talk shit, he lets his rig do it for him.
I see my Poser rig made it into the examples. It's the only frickin shot I have this year, oh well at least it's a grocery getter that can get over more stuff unlocked than most of the other carbon copy "I bought cause I can" stuff.
I am here on this board cause I can learn shiat. I may know how to fix and injection system, but I don't know always know what year scout has the axle I will need when I finally break my other shiat. I also don't have to put up with 10 posts a day on "help! my cell phone keeps blowing fuses in my cigarette lighter"
I left the car business because of "most" of the people on discoweb were an awful like "most" of my customers.
