I'm looking for a good engine for my ground up project: '73 Land Rover 88 Series III. Currently it's (non)running a 4.3l Chevy & 700r4. I'm contemplating the supercharged version of the GM3800 Series II V6 & a 5-speed tranny.
From the info I've gathered, the Series II v6 is a transverse mounted engine, however can be mounted "normally". The bolt pattern is identical to the 60deg. chevy V6's. Has anyone swapped in one of these? How about wire harnesses? (I know they are a popular swap in Fiero's, so something must be available)...
