Ok, we're still here and doing some planning for next year since it seems we aren't going to be on the trail much this year.

I have been in contact with the FS about the route designation stuff.

Trying to see about some sort of bank account to accept donations since it doesn't seem feasible to INC right now.

We are thinking of hiking (I know, how GREEN) the Fordyce trail on September 22nd. Eagle lakes to Meadow and back in one day with a probable camp that night before heading back Sunday. All are welcome to come along but let me be clear.

All groups must be self sufficient!!

I want to have a look at the trail and just plain be on it this year.

I might be able to join you too. I love backpacking and I am going crazy. I managed to run the trail once before they closed it to all of us and I miss that forest.
