anyone got some pics of 79-85 yota's with the fenders trimmed, i havent seem anyone do this, is it possible?

Yes it's rather common on toys. Here is my 83. It's had about 3" of the fender removed near the back. The front has also been cut to. These are fiberglass fenders, I like them because it's easy to shape them with a grinder. You can get these fenders from Downey Off Road.

can't find any close up pics but I cut it back toward the cab and then tood the sledge to the cab a bit, front is stock..

Those fenders are 1980, at least what is left of them. They were previously trimmed following the fender line where it starts to lip out.
