Can I use my siphon feed blast cabinet, and modify it to use an external pressurized blaster like http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=95014
Collect the good media at the bottom and fill the tank again, and use my dust collector on it?

Hi man
I use an old refrigerator cabinet for my sand blaster.
I gutted it and added a steel plate where the freezer floor was, looks like a cone to collect the media. It funnels down into a bucket, I reuse mine all the time.
I connected the top (freezer) to a shop vac to collect the dust.
The magnetic gasket does a fin job of keeping the dust in. I replaced the freezer door with a similar size plexiglass sheet +/- 3/16 thick.
I made gloves out of old innertubes glued to you guessed it rubber gloves. Seems to work fine. Dead refrigerators are great, people leave then by the curb for recycling all the time.:D

Yeah, it`s doable. I did it with my H.F blast cabinet.
I`ve got the smaller pressure blaster though.I used an electricians hole punch to make the hole for the hose to go into the cabinet. It worked o.k for what I was doing, but,it was also awkward because of the large nozzle.
