1. What length of coilover are you using?
2. What spring rates are you using and would you change them?
3. What valving are you using?

Your questions are not well thought out.
spring rate all depends on what ride height you want, and will be different for every length CO..Valving depends on what you intend to drive and how you have them setup. If you only have 3in of uptravel youll want a much stiffer valving on uptravel. valving numbers from one brand to the next are not compareable.
:flipoff2:
Get big ones,
set them to your ride height,
adjust the valving till you like it.

not the best of pictures, but it gives an idea of ride hieght and stance, (the one on the right)

I am running Sway-A-Way 2.0 x 12" non bypass C/O's factory wet valveing, w/ Eibach 250 x 10" over 300 x 14". 5.5 inches of compression at static hieght.
Spring rates will be vary slightly with different shock brands, depending on nitrogen charge rates used internally in the shock.
These ride real well, smooth not jaring, yet stiff enough to endure fast runs through whoops in the sand dunes. They work real well on the rocks, not bottoming out and are very predictable as to when the front end will unload.

If your spring rate is changing with your coilover travel, you are using one of the older calculators. Spring rates should be calculated based on suspension frequency and not preload.

Can you go into a bit more detail? All the research I've been doing must be based on the old calculators....
Back on topic, I'm going 14" 2.5's and i'm not sure how they'll be set up when I'm done, but i'll keep it posted.

Discussed many times. Search for suspension frequency.
