Serviced the wifes 96 XJ with a 4 speed auto . How many quarts of tranny fluid ? I always thought it was a little over 4 quarts , but it shows over full with 4 quarts . :homer:

usually its 4-5 qts. start the vehicle and let it get warmed up. pull the tranny dipstick and see what gear your suppose to have it in. it'll say either park or neutral. you should have the fluid level by the "hot" mark.
