I have a 76 CJ-5 and am building it up with bigger tires, axles etc.

What I need to know is if the 76 CJ5 frame and the 80 CJ5 frame are the same as far as body mounts go. Are they?

I know that 76 was the year of major changes, and they appear to have the same mounts, but I am not positive 100%.

I have owned a 77, and I must say the 76 does have some remanents of the 75 and earier on it.

As far as I know the body mounts were the same for all years.

I have been doing some research and attempting to buy body mounts. Now it appears that the mounts must somehow be different because they list different kits.

My guess is that it is minor, but I am not sure.

I know 75 and earlier are way different.

Anyone??
