Has anyone ever ran one of these?
What do you think about them?

What are you putting it in? I've seen/heard of several going out (mostly worn teeth) in smaller axles. Especially rear C12s and C10s. I'm running one in my front D60. I wasn't interested in even considering it until I talked to one person after another out here who run them in D60s in big full-size rock crawlers with 40"+ tires for year after year and not one has had a failure even though several have broken multiple u-joints, stubs, and hubs without hurting the Lock-Rite. Also the D60 insert is a huge hunk of metal, much bigger than any of the others. So, I guess my position is I would run one in the front if you have a D60 front. Smaller fronts, I guess it would depend on tire size and output, it will likely be stronger than stock stubs and joints anyway, but you may loose it when one side blows, but you could loose a detroit too so... However, for the rear, I would (and do) run a Detroit which seem to never wear out...

I have a 14 bolt SF not the big boy FF, But it is almost the size of D60, it has a 9.5" ring gear close to the D60's 9 3/4" ring gear.
So I would think they would be about the same in size and strength.
It will be for the rear, I will run 4.88's with either 35x15 TSL's or 36x14.50 Radials.

I just need someones opino them.:D

Thanks

I got 3, one in a 2wd and 2 in my 4x4 (with 38" tires)

I break axle shafts, but so far, haven't broke a Lock Right. They are pretty tough for what they are, esp for the money

I have the Lockright in my corp 10 right now and like it very much. works great.

I did the lockright because it was cheap (so I didn't have to put more $$ into the corp 10) because I'm gonna put either the D60 or 9" in the rear with a detroit when I can afford it.

so witch is better? the lockright? or the no-slip locker??
I thought they where the same.
I also don't really want to spen $550 for a detroit if a lockeright will work ok for me.:D

thanks fellas

The No Slip has extra parts in it that are sposed to make it quieter.

My Lock Right's are vry quiet, and I don't see any reason to spend the extra cash for the No Slip

it's not any stronger, just suppose to be more street friendly. my lockright is very quiet and most of the time you can hardly tell it's there.

I'm running a corp 10 (8.5) in the rear with the lockright. 33x12.5 KMs.

I'm going to move up to 35s and either a D60 or 9" when I get the cash (detroit locker will be used)

I'm trying to save for both axles to be swapped. no mo ifs :rasta:

i have used lockrights, rear axle has held up fine but i snapped both front axles and the little shear pins in the locker. i could buy the pins and put it back in but i really dont need one all that much.
