I have pole barn that is open on one side. I park my towrig and some other things in there.

The birds are bombing them bad. I thought of stapling some snow fence to the rafters but wondered if there was some other cheap effective material I might look into.

this will sound dumb but try rubber snakes or a fake owl, you can get them from some seed cataloges, it works.

they can probably get through snow fence if they wanted to, shoot em with the birdshot .22lr shells

Fake owls, tapes of owl screeches, those big long bird spike strips on every flat surface or window screen to keep the out of the rafters.
