Contemplating on how to build a boat trailer and I need ideas or sites on how to and tong weighs and all the stuff

for what kind of boat?

Different types of boats have different designs (ex inboards have a different frame set up than stern drives ... where as little alumium boats just need a pair of boards and a little axle, bigger boats have 4 to eight boards with 2 or 3 axles). Also makes a difference with the frame and where you are going to use it (air boats used in rivers usually have a deep trailer, cost less, where as airboats at the coast usually have very shallow trailers).

All the ones that I have built have been for little flat bottom boats, and I just paid some one to make ski boat trailer.

I don't see why i would be a bad starting point, in the past we just started with a new axle and angle iron. But I have no clue how to build a trailer for a sail boat with a keel on the bottom. Sorry
