I have to replace the housing on my d-44, and it's 19-spline. I already have the locker, etc, can I put my 19-spline shafts in a housing made for 30-spline ones? I know it would be an easy time to upgrade, but I aint got the cash. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the only difference is in the spider gears or the locker. If your locker is 19 spline you should be fine.

Just make sure that the flange pattern is the same (Where the brakes bolt on) Older D44's use an evenly spaced 6 bolt pattern, and the newer ones have a flat bottom with the bolts non-evenly spaced. You will also need to re-use the seals from the 19 spline, the 30 spline setup is a 1 piece axle and uses a retaining plate and different type of seal.
