Hey Eric I'll admit that I was being lazy and not searching for it, but on the other hand I would of been happy to measure it if were in my driveway. So your solution #2 is out. Thanks and back at ya:flipoff2: :)

From the Nov. '01 JP Magazine:
narrow = 53" front, 50.5" rear
wide = 56" front, 54.5" rear

Wide tracs are 56" wms to wms both front and rear. This is for all
82 to 86 cj's.

ALL 82-86? Weren't ALL CJ5's narrow track? Even through 83? :confused:

Btw..........I measured both housings sitting in my garage so.... :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

all 5's were narrow. it's one of the reason's they got shitcanned in 83. too many morons thought they were Mustang GT's and ended up like turtles.

Hey Eric thanks for continuing to be a DICK after I've already admitted my laziness:flipoff2: By the way you weren't the only one that replied:flipoff2: So you can take your simple minded ass somewhere where everyone is a dick when someone asks a questionP.S How old are you, I'm guessing no older than 10!!!!:flipoff2: :usa:

Ah lighten up newbie! :flipoff2: :D The grit comes with the territory. You got off EASY compared to some of the newbie flame fests around here.

And Eric's first reply was dead on.

Yeah, Eric is pretty simple minded. :rolleyes: Jeepin84 as soon as you've contributed 1/4 of the info that Eric has to these bulletin boards you'll be allowed to make comments like that and be taken seriously. Until then, learn to thicken your skin up and don't be a whiny ass in the meantime. Not only did Eric give you shit for not searching he gave you a source for the answer of the question you asked, so back off. It would be another story if he had only told you to search.

Awwww.... did the poor wittle newbie get his feelings hurt? Sheesh, and people were actually being nice to you in this thread. Thanks for being a dick about receiving the information you asked for. Always a pleasure to have crybabies like you around here :rolleyes: I highly suggest frequenting the site I listed in item #3. Much more your style and skill level. Of course if you had read the Newbie thread you'd have already known where you belonged. Damn, you weren't kidding when you said you were lazy :flipoff2:

Thanks CME :beer: :D :beer:

Guys I'm really not pissed off or anything, and I'm not arguing that Eric has contributed alot more to this site or has alot more knowledge than I, also I visit this site daily and have seen alot of newbies get flammed alot worse so I guess I should have taken it with a grain of salt. Thanks for the answer to my question looking forward to my next flame. LOL:smokin: :beer:
