i am looking for some flat tops for my 44, i already have it in the rig but im looking to keep the ford brakes and such since they are brand new and i have Yukon chromo waggy shafts and ford outers for the narrow housing with ford outters.
the best i could find that still retain the ford spindle and brakes where 230 a piece through reidracing

i would, but where i am, they want you to buy the whole axle, and then i still have to have them machined and taped. plus i kinda want something that is milled so i can still run zerks on my ball joints without the axle shaft.

i got my double ended 60 arms from harsh-terrain. They were very reasonably priced

As I recall, the only flat top Ford knuckles are either early Crew Cab 1/2-tons (rare), or late 70's F250's, which are entirely different brakes, etc, than the 1/2-ton units.
Early full-size Jeep and Chevy D44's had flat top knuckles, but require different spindles and brakes than the Ford D44 uses.
Read this http://77cj.littlekeylime.com/web_rs44.html to get an idea of what junk yard stuff will work. You can find parts on EBay, other wise, you'll probably have to by new aftermarket knuckles $$$.
