At the meetings that the forest service held earlier this year, they wrote down questions from the public and said that they would post them with answeres. So far, I haven't seen anything on their web site. The answeres could help in the public comments.
Keep informed and active

Those are from the 2005 meeting. I couldn't make the 07 meeting but am pretty sure that most of the questions matched the 05 meeting. Would be nice if they would update the page. Hopefully they can update that before October.

Good point, I just sent Amy Reid an email, maybe she can get it updated for us.

Going by the PVille FS office tomorrow, will see if she is there and ask her about it.

Please send a comment in about this -- the Forest Service needs to publish the information that they collected, instead of just sitting on it and putting it in the 'project record.'
Failing to do so, especially when we comment it, sets up an easy appeal.

Here is the link that they sent me to.

It is just a posting of the questions that were asked. No answers....The old info (as I was told) stays on the website (different link)....a progression of information.
A dumbng down of info in my opinion....
It took me awhile to find this, so what about the average Joe? And they showed me where it was:confused:

Amy replied to my email...
Hi Jen --
The meeting questions are posted on the website at the following address:
http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/eldorado/documents/route/deis/deis_public_meeting_questions.pdf
The link to this file is on the DEIS page. I will make sure that a link is
placed in the navigation section at the top of each page on the project
website so that it is easier to find. The answers will be posted, but are
not ready.
