: Curb weight of a 1984 f250, with a 460
Copenhagen 09-12-2007, 08:43 PM Lame question, but im busy gettin ready to move to Idaho. I searched a little bit, couldnt come up with shit.
Anyone know off the top of their head?
Front axle weight, and rear axle weight, would help a lot too...
Thx...

We need more info for an accurate rating. My extra cab 150 wieghs 5600 and change. So what cab? Long or short box. Big hub/small hub ttb? I wont know axle wieght. I dont know exactly how much these will add up to either. My friends single cab long bed big hub 351 auto truck wieghs around the same as my extra cab short bed 302 f-150. Thats bone stock. No add ons like bumpers or others.

460, 4 speed, 208 case
TTB front, rear end would be a 60 i think?
Standard cab...
All 250's ive ever seen are long boxes... this is a long box
Dunno about big or small hubs on the ttb, they are definately smaller than the hubs on the D60 in my blazer...
Its all stock..

I would say between 5500 and 6000 pounds. Just my best guess though. Best bet is to get it wieghed and let us know.
mustange70 09-12-2007, 10:06 PM 5000-5200 should get it pretty close, i have an 80' f-250 that weighs in at around 42-4300lbs, one ton running gear (solid front hp60, etc), but its under gone some 'minor' surgey lol.
Copenhagen 09-12-2007, 10:26 PM then you have a d44 ttb
I know. I didnt think they made a D60 ttb, so i figured it went without saying...

This is only going to be a tow/huntin rig, but i want to ditch the TTB, god i hate that setup...
I posted a pic in this forum a few months back, of what the TTB looks like on this truck when i reverse... Its comical.

Twin falls,
I love the area i live in now, but theres a list of things that are making me hate it...
Housing prices, Illegals, Wannabe thugs, Traffic, those are the main reason...
Twin falls, seems perfect for me, Hunting, plenty of wheelin, less people, less traffic, housing is more reasonable, plus the opportunity i was presented over there :smokin:
Copenhagen 09-13-2007, 09:39 AM No but they made a d50 ttb:flipoff2:
oh yea,,, haha... i try to ignore anything that deals with TTB, as i feel it was one of fords more retarded ideas...
