Hello..
I have an 84 ranger swb body and want to set it on my 79 bronco chassis
the chassis has a 351w in it with a 5spd..

I know it ant goin to be easy but what all has to be dont to make it happin??

you have to get a tall tree and a short rope. tie a couple knots the rope and put it around you throat. count to three if you have to and jump from the top of your house. or but a red star and do some f*cking searching. stop f*cken mooching.

I did a body swap from a BII to a 78-9 chassie and it wasn't to bad but it realy depends on what tools you have and how creative you are. the biggest problems you are going to have is the clutch and the wiring...

like said above you realy need to search out some answers instead of just asking an open ended question like that here....

I have seen this done around here.
I just want something with a bit more power to play in the mud with and i have alot of junk(family owns a junk yard) And the bronco runs but the body is WAY to big for the trails around here

um........... have you ever heard of putting the drive train under the ranger???????? i dont know. i know its never been done before. but hey columbus found america???????? wait didnt he?

personaly when I did my swap I looked at alot of things and did alot of research. and when I realy got into it, the body swap for me was the way to go.

the big bronco had a 351M which ran and was free with the truck, NP435 which was the tranny I was looking for, a 205...good luck blowing one of those up, and a 9"/ hp D44 combo. this was all stuff I wanted to run in my BII. so after looking at the time I would have spent swapping all that stuff over it just seemed to be the right decision for me to fab up some body mounts move the rear forward and make the hydro clutch linkage go to the mechanical bell....

just cause someone swaps a body to a different chassie doesn't mean they are stupid and don't know how to do anything. unless you swap a car to a truck frame that is just plain retarded......:smokin:

the swap would be best for me cause i dont know nothing about 4links and all that..

How did you end up w/ a 79 Bronco with a Windsor and a 5spd? Did you do tha swap, or was it all in there... cause that shit ain't factory!
