I am moving there in about a month and I am wongering how strict they are on 4x4s? Do they're panties get in a knot if your tires stick out to far? Or are the other end where stuff like this http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=613116 is street legal?

Front tires can stick out a couple inches and not draw attention. Rears will need at least a mudflap covering the back side. Each little town has its quirks, but overall not too bad. They don't like comp cut corners on Jeeps.
Ada County (Boise) has smog laws. Other counties (Caldwell) don't. Never heard anyone try to write up beadlocks.
