not a ford guy but have a fancy for the 95 crew cab w/powerstroke:smokin: so what years are the same as the 95 and what other years are similar(like they changed the hood a little or the lights):D

its 92- 97. but the powerstroke wasnt until 94. or of course you could get a late 80s-91 ford and swap the fenders, hood grill, etc to the newer style

80-86, 87-91, 92-96

the cabs are all the same "shape" but diffrent holes and mounts. beds and fenders are diffrent on the 80-86, the beds all match for the 87-96s

The F250HD/F350 were carried over into 97.
The cabs are interchangeable, but, it is not exactly a direct bolt in.... Just put a 93 cab on my buddy's 86 with the 86 dash/harness....

Crew Cab Powerstrokes only came in late 94-97. Early 94 may still have the IDI motor which is the same block, but it does have different styles of injection and is not computer controlled. If you want a solid front axle it must be a f350 in those years as the f250 ran Twin Traction Beam up until the new body style in 99 and up.

The IDI is not the same block as a PSD, the only thing it shares with the 7.3 PSD is the displacement.
Crew/long bed w/psd can be had 94.5-97, and are F350 only, Crew short bed is 96/7 only, and F250 only.

i'm sure you are right, i've never had mine, nor anyones idi apart. i was told they were the same bottom end... thanks for the info
