I thought this was a simple question, but I can't get a simple answer.... Whats the difference in width of an EB 9", and a Big Bronco 9" (or an f150)? I was thinking about 3", but have heard as much as 6.....
Anyone have the right answer?
Thanks,

it's been about a year since i did the measurements. but the difference in a 73 eb and the 76 f-150 i got my 9" from was just about dead on 5". within a 1/4" if i remember right.

That's the same info I have aquired in my search. The stock bronco 9" should measure around 59.25" and I believe a full width 9" measures 65.5" Good Luck, Jake

we moved. i been pushing a crew at work, and the overtime has been crazy. it's finally starting to level out. i had my wrist broke in 3 places. just getting over that. but it's about time to start playing again.
i got the fullsize 84 and the b2 in the drive. i'll measure those and post here in a few minutes. i think you were getting good info but the all vary a little.

Just went to buy a full width 9 today. It measured 62.5" so I had to pass. My guess is it was out up a later 60's early 70 pick-up. That would be where you have gotten the 3" measurement. Had to pass on the axle since it won't match up with my 65.5 front d44. Back to the drawing boards.
Good Luck, Jake
