I have a 2000 TJ, Sahara, I need to fabricate or maybe buy some rocker gaurds, but I need to use the exsiting holes and maybe make on or 2 more in the frame and nothing in the body.
Does anyone has any resourses or info? Anyone got any measurments or best materials I should use.
I have a 2" body lift and 4" suspensions lift
Thanks in advance. :rasta:

Just get some 1/4in angle iron 5" by 5" and drill the fawken holes for bolts through the body and the frame!

sure bolt the angle to the body, but NOT to the frame, the only was frame and body should ever be attached is via a bushing, like the factory rubber body mounts, the frame and body flex independently of each other and you don't want to connect them like mentioned,

Sometimes 5x5x.250 can be hard to find, 4x6x.250 works fine too.

Just drill the extra holes, bolt it through the body. There is no other better rocker guard than that out there. All the other nerf bar products both lower your ground clearance, as well as bend up and hit your body anyway.

WHat is the best way to attach it?

$285 for sun performance rockers. I use them on my 2000 tj and they can take one hell of a beating. They are very easy to install. It may take an hr or 2. I am sure you have seen them before but here is a pic of what they look like. I have slid over rocks on them, slamed down on them as hard as I can and all they get is scrached. the part that takes the abuse is round and not right up on body so it has room to dent even before it hits the body. I am very happy with mine.
