SFA Swap Question [Archive]

I have a friend who has a 90 Chevy 2500 truck he wants to do a SFA swap in to it. He has a 79 Chev 3/4 ton donor truck that he can swap out everything. Does anyone know if there's an adapter to run his 700R4 to the tranfer case of the 79? So basically he can use the 79's front axle and transfer case with his 700R4. Any info on this subject would be great. Thanks.
