I am in the market for a PTO for my Cruiser......I just have a question before I laydown the cash.

With the PTO engauged(sp?), can you drive the truck. That way you could help the winch out while pulling yourself outta trouble.

That is one of the nice benifits of running an electric. I would hate to put all that strain on the driveline without being able to help it out a bit.....

Any help would be great!

My understanding of the PTO is that you can drive at the same time. The PTO is just like changing from 2WD to 4WD...it just engages another output from the transfer case.

Cool thing about the PTO driven off of the T case, you have a 3 or 4 spd winch, the tranny speeds the shaft up just like it does driving.
