New to the site and looking for some help. I would like to swap out my ifs and go to a gm product frontend if possible. After researching it i have found that this will be pricey and still have'nt found a supplier with a total kit and directions of what i'm getting into. I plan to keep my transfer case and would like to acheive around 6" of lift at both ends. Any tech advice or web links to purchase a complete kit would be appreciated. Thanks.

Lots of info on here about this swap, search button works pretty good. For a complete kit, the only one I know of is Offroad Unlimited. That would be steering hangers, springs, front axle. Probably looking at around $4000 taking that route. There are others that make the hanger kits for the front axle, sky manufacturing is one that is resonable at around $350. If u can use a torch and a welding machine u can do like most and build your own hangers and source out your spring of choice. U will have to use a ford axle to keep your own t-case and convert the axle to 6-lug to match your rear. Chevy axle would mean swapping your t-case for an older model passenger side unit, this opens up a whole nother issue with your '95 model regarding the VSS sensor for the tranny. If u are set on doing this your self, u will need to spend many hours researching and planning before u start gathering parts as there are many different choices for u with axles springs and such. If u don't think this is within your ability's get ready to pay someone $$$$ to do it for u. I did mine for less than $500, but I built all my own hangers and got used springs and did some trading for the ford D44 front axle. Good luck.

Exactly what red Chevy said, it's all about planning.
Do a search and read all the articles you can find about SAS'ing a FS chev.
Then once you have some real questions that you need to have answered ask away.
People here are more than willing to help if you put in the effort in the research department.
Good Luck

Thanks for the info. I'm capable of doing most all of the fab work myself but i don't want to start without knowing all the details like you said. I'll keep searching and see what kind of parts i can come up with.
