I just pulled my drivetrain and the old wires hanging there want to make me puke. I havent had much time to research this but need to find a new harness. Painless makes the most noise, but Centec, Franciss, American Autowire, and about a half dozen or so others are out there. It is a daily driver with a 70's GM steering column.

I did a search but didn't see much besides Painless and Centec, and no concess on which of those is better.

I can't say anything about the other brands but I was very happy with my Painless Kit it had everything I needed and the wires were labeled about every 8in's or so. I also have a GM column and the harness just plugged into it without any problems. I purchased the 12 cir kit just so I would have wires for lights,CB,and any other thing I decided to ad and they would have there own fuse I just have to remember that the power door lock fuse is for the CB. The job is time consuming if you want to do it right figure at least 3 full days.
