I am looking at the Rough Country 4" kit for my 78 Bronco... I see that the coils are not progressive rate or anything.

Anyone have these, and how stiff are they?

The truck sees only street miles, and the occasional snow romp.. so it doesn't need to be flexy, but I also don't wanna piss blood for a week after I drive it a few hundered miles.

I would be going with the 4" front coils, the rear block, 7` bushing kit, quad shocks on the front, new rear shocks, drop trac bar bracket, and drop pitman arm... shipped for under $500 bucks.

I like the kits from Cage, etc... but they are alot more $$ for a street queen!

It'll ride like a 30 year old truck..... Rough Country really isn't as bad as people say they are, won't flex as well as some of the high-end kits do, but if you're looking for a good ride upgrade the shocks first

Bought their 4.5" kit for my XJ, different kit, but I have regretted it EVERY time I drive my jeep since.

The name says sit all, ROUGH Country. I'd advise saving a few more bucks and going with a name brand kit.
