Let me know.

So you are saying Table Mesa is better than Florence? I have done Highway to Hell in Florence. Is there anything comprable in Table Mesa?
I am one hour from Florence, two hours from Table Mesa.

Okay.
I still don't think it's worth packing up the rV and trailer to go there when I could go to florence one hour closer.
If I'm driving to hours I should just kick in the extra 4 to go to tds.

Table Mesa is definately worth the trip at least once but it`s still nothing you can`t find in Florence which is much closer to you.

Might try it out next week.

Look at it this way, a buddy and I ran every trail out in Florence back in our old Zuks in under 6 hours, this was back in 03 before the days of the purpose built buggies (you can read about it on my webpage, it was during the 2003 Undertaker's Marathon). We crawled everything unassisted and didn't even rush from trail to trail. I can't say the same thing for the trails at TM with the same rig. Even with a full on buggy there is stuff that pushes you to your limits (like no-balls wall, if you go up that one you have gone beyond big balls ).
You have a camper, what exactly is the big deal? Head out there on a Friday night and stay till Sunday. That's what we did last weekend. Most of the easier trails are within 5 minutes of camp which makes for easy night runs.

TM has trails that are just as good and better then Highway to Hell.

I am learning trails in both areas as I am new to the area and TM definitely has more trails that are on the extreme end although FJ has a few new trails that are extreme.
The other consideration is that FJ is nicer to camp by a long shot. It is quiet, clean and more scenic than TM.
Depending on the type of trails you like PM me and maybe we can hook up and go out. I drive a jeep turned buggy with 110 wheelbase. I work in Florence and live in Chandler.

TM has many trails that are tougher then H2H. Variety is the spice of life. I would alternate between the 2 areas and run everything. For me, FJ is kinda boring with alot of slow driving between trails. Try both and decide for yourself.

I wheel TM all the time since I live in Cave Creek...North Valley. A couple of trails that come to mind for crawling...
Anniconda
Predator
Annihilator...The falls at the start will make a man of you real quick
Twisted
...the list goes on and on.
Both FJ and TM have some good things to offer. Wherever you go just be conscious of your impact as both areas are in danger of being closed.

How can you live in Queen Creek and be an hour from Florence, you walking? TM I understand the 2 hr comment....TM isn't that bad to camp, you just have to be careful and choose you spot...

I am one hour from Florence, two hours from Table Mesa.
If you like H2H in florenc, try dirts sanchez (real short though) and collateral damage at TM. TM spanks florence for wheeling IMO. Like jack said, variety. Wheel florence a couple of times and then head over to TM just to change the scenery.
I live in peoria so it is the exact opposite of you. I wheel 2 weekends a month and might get out to florence twice in a whole year.

I'll give another nod in favor of Table Mesa over Florence. TM trails are all in close proximity and offer trails that are more challenging than Florence. On the otherhand, Florence has great scenery, is cleaner, and there are some challenging trails for even the best rigs. I also believe that the Superior area has some great trails and easy access from the east valley. If that doesn't pop your cherry, head another hour south to Mammoth, AZ. :grinpimp:

Dude - I see where you are coming from but stop being so resistant. FJ is fun but TM has MUCH MORE CHALLENGING trails. Its worth the trip. Give it a try. You will be amazed. H2H is pretty much as hard as FJ gets. That's it. Some may argue on which is the hardest FJ trail but the point is if street = 0 and best crawling in the country = 5:
FJ = 3.5
TM = 5

It is a TJ, 4", 32's, 4.0L, and it has some power upgrades. I don't want to beat the crap out of it though. It will have ARBs and a currie tie rod by Jan 20th.

I'll give it a go after the ARBs are installed in my Reddy(my wrangler).
Also, My dad has a 70's CJ7 with 33's, locker in the rear, and soa with a v8. Could he do this stuff? He doesn't care as much as me for damage but doesn't want to demolish it.
But I'll giv her a go. What trails do you reccomend for me? I don't want body damage keep in mind.

Chicks dig body damage!:grinpimp: You'll probably want to try Terminator and Predator first to see how that goes. Trails go up in difficulty from there, but both of those trails are very tame. If those seem too easy, ask for directions to Matrix!:flipoff2:

With all the rains lately, Collateral is nasty. It kicked our asses today. No real carnage, but it was actually really tough........and fun! I can usually walk all the obstacles except the 3rd fall, but today was a fight for all the ground we took.

hey guys i hope i didnt miss it but i was wondering if ther is a map or detailed instructions to get to trails in table mesa? im in prescott and have been down the last two weekends, i have found Collateral damage and terminator, and i know where aniconda comes off of terminator. we ran terminator last time and we are looking for something a bit more challenging. we have 3 toyotas with 35s-37s and a wrangler on 37s all locked in at least one axle and all but one have a winch. any advice would be great.

No map exists and you will never get detailed instructions on a public forum. The best thing to do is hook up with a group that is running trails you're interested in. I would suggest the Arizona chapter of TTORA.com since you seem to be Yota biased! Best of luck.

Depends on what you consider hard, but I think TM has harder trails, especially trails that test the rigs vertical capabilities. NL is also hard, but for other reasons. Lots of diff hangers, technical crawling, and lines you have to know. The recent rains have made TM trails harder and NL easier. :D
lostoffroad

i would say that tm has the harder trails. maybe not the super technical but with the waterfalls and legdes getting cleaned out after these recent rains there nice and fun. just remember its all in your perspective of what you look at as harder or better. most stuff at tm i can wlk right through but thats just cause i wheel it all the time. white tanks has the diff grabber navigate trails to teach you how to pick a line thats a 100 yrds long.
