I have had this warn M8000 winch for 15 years, never had a problem with it, until Saturday when the brake assemblie broke. What I was wonder is if warn will replace it for free?
Thanks for any help,
Chris

But it is not like I use the thing every day, it's probably been used on average 5 times a year, on light vehicles. (2 cjs and a suzuki) It was the 1st time I had to bust the thing out this year.

Sounds like lack of maintenance to me...

Write Warn a nice letter telling them how much you love your winch and what happened and they may just send you the parts free. All they can do is say no. They may surprize you and say here are the parts you need.
