I've posted this to the general board too, just trying to cover the bases.

I'm looking for someone in the south bay who can fab a double steering arm. I have the pieces, just need someone to stick 'em together. So if you've used someone in the area and like (no... trust) what they did, shoot me their info.

Appreciate it

Dogwalker is great at that if you have the arms for him.

a lot of people shy away from this type of work due to liability problems/concerns.
why not just buy the aqualu arm or go hy-steer?:D

i've got the aqualu arm on mine and the only problem with it is that the tie-rod gets damn close to the wheel.

I think www.extremebends.com has double arms as cheap as you can pay someone to weld one up.

Take this advise from someone who has been there done that, get a set of the later knuckles, (mini-79 or newer LC) before you do this, the larger spacing really makes a difference on keeping the knuckle bolts tight, I have replaced a whole bunch of broken studs, stripped holes and one complete new knuckle, and I'm still suck with the smaller version.....If I do it again, it's Hi-steer for me!!

Personally I like Hy steer.

Goto OTT site for a very nice set of arms that fit LC's really well.

Has anyone tried the Sky-MFG histeer arms??? They are pretty reasonably priced and look pretty nicely machined. There website is here (http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/)

www.ottindustries.com The Olsen Twins build some really nice stuff. I really like their clockable SM420 to mini adaptor.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll try the Hy Steer and solve two problems at once.

I agree with Jason. I got The OTT arms and am really pleased. If you are doing the hysteer at the same time do yourself a favor and built it up with 1 ton balljoints and larger drag link and tierod. I like how their arms have two holes in the arm instead of hoking the drag link into the tierod. In my opinion just a bit less chance for slop and the balljoints are nice and also street legal.
