I have a window frame for a truck topper thats tearing, just needs to be zipped up. I dont deal with AL enough to justify buying the stuff I need to do it.

I have a spool gun and 4340 and 5356 wire for it. How thick is it?

I'll be at Josh's on wednesday night and we could hook it to Mark' mig. My Miller 210 is too dam big to haul over.

If you can find someone with a tig and give it a go. I do some AL at work but I don't think I could take it in, how big is it?

Its less than 1/8" its the window frame side of the hinge on an older style leer shell. I have a 200 at my casa, think your spool gun would plug on in? ;)

Jeren, I think it'd be too big for you to haul it in, bout 2' by 4'

OHH wait it's only going to work on a newer Miller. The feed/gas valve wiring is not going to work on a Lincoln or older Miller.

No problem, I have run 220 all over and can weld on the sidewalk if needed!

The miller catalog shows we would need a SGA-100 control box to make it work.

Cool, I'll let you know. I wonder if I can mod my 200 to take the new spool guns, that'd be nice :D
