Ok I have a chance to get a brake booster off a 75.

I was wondering if I go disc brakes will this booster work?

Thanks

Depends on what you're putting it into. However, if it's going into a different year cruiser, then the booster should probably work just fine. Lots of different Toyota boosters/masters are compatible & work well for disk brakes.

For example, I'm using a booster & master from an '82 minitruck with 4-wheel disks & it bolted right up with no modifications necessary - works great.

You will need either Warden's booster adaptor for the firewall (or a close copy of it) or graft the firewall piece containing the booseter mount and pedals from a later model 40.

Hmm, lets see, both qtrs needed replacing, both wheel well tops and sides needed replacing, the rear bed and most of the front floor needed replacing. What's so good about it!! Trust me, EVERYTHING but the firewall needed replacing, and that had some serious rust issues where it tied into the rockers. That thing had layers of fiberglass and bondo holding it together, which were peeling and coming off themselves. If its so good of a tub, I can let anyone know where they can go get it!! :flipoff2:

Frame, similar issues!! I was able to poke a screw driver through various parts of the rusted areas from the front body mounts back. the rear channle is a wooden 2X4, and that's the best part of the whole tub and frame!!

The problem is that the black paint in the photos "hides" how really bad this tub is!! There are only about 2 sections of 1 inch wide rusty metal holding each qtr and wheel well on!!

If you want it, make your way to Axis Steel in Craig, CO before they turn it into razor blades!! :D
