I just picked up a 96' GC and the "part time" light was on in 2WD and its beeping and telling me to check the 4x4 switch when in 4WD. Pulled and cleaned the switch with no results. I pulled the wires off the switch and assumed that would be the end of it. Now the light is out but its still beeping and telling me to check the switch. Where is the VIC getting this signal from?I just figured it was worth a shot to fix this before I pull the "cube" a kill all the bells. Any info would be helpful.
