Are you on leJune? Do you run the DT 2000 or 8000 on your rig?
My son is stationed there and I am trying to get him interested in Zukes.

Sorry, I'm at Fort Bragg. (Army, not Marines) It's about a 1 1/2 to 2 hr drive from here. I run the 3000's currently with a SPOA and 3" Rancho lift springs. I like them, but really don't have any experience with any of the other shocks out there.

Do the Rancho lift springs use the stock mounting points or they longer thsn stock?
If they are longer than stock, Is your ride smooth or does it absorb alot of the bump? How is the body roll?
In the AAArmy Cool! That is where I wanted my son to go. Oh well Hmmmmm

The springs are the same length, they just have a larger arch, so yes they do use the stock mounting points. As for ride, it rides as well as my stock sammie if that tells you anything. I actually feel less body role with the lift springs than on my stocker. Go figure?!

As for the Army, yea, it's WAY cool. 12 years and counting!

I think that my son would rather be in the army now that has been in the marines for 2 years. He is already counting the days till he gets out and he still has 18 months to go!
Where are you from?

I'm actually from South West Pennsylvania. I've been in NC (Fort Bragg) for 7 1/2 years. I wheel with some local guys but am currently looking for a club. There is a Jeep club here, but I've only wheeled with them once. Way too much testosterone (too much carnage!) If your son is ever up this way, drop me a line and I'll find him.
