I have chevy 3/4 ton calipers and rotors on my rear 1979 Ford D60. In between the caliper and wheel I have approx 0.080" of clearance, without grinding. Is that enough or should I be concerned with debris wedging itself in there and damaging the wheel/caliper?
Thanks

Highhonda sells a kit that puts 3/4 brakes on a Dana 60. That allows clearance for a 15" wheel. There might be other resolutions but I am only aware of this.
As long as you have some clearance, you shouldn't have any problems. I hope the wheel doesn't move on the spindle in that way.

The wheel will flex and rub, but you'll be ok.

If you are worried about it, you could grind a little off the caliper. Or you could buy different wheels with more back spacing. I think it should be fine though

Thank you for all of the responses, I will run the 15's as is and see what happens. If need be; I will grind the calipers if anything hits.
