Anyone been up on the Naches lately I'm heading up on the 6th of oct. Should I expect snow?
How do the trails look?

Was really dry last weekend Sept 21-23, but the clouds were coming over Chinook on Sun. Might have some rain on that side by then. Kaner was so dry it was like flour.

snow level is supposed to be down to 3500 ft. I know we got snow over here at 4200 ft, but nothing stuck.

I just got back from my forst trip to Nachese today and the trails were dusty when i got there but after the rain it wasnt bad. We went up 676 that was pretty fun alot of steep hill climbs and some pretty cool obsticles. We did a few other trails that were pretty fun but not sure the names of them. Went to moon rocks and funny rocks on saturday and had a Blast. It was snowing off and on at camp not much more like a dusting but when we ran 676 when we got way high up in elevation the snow was coming down good! On my drive home on the top of the Mountain on 410 it was snow flurrys but it wasnt looking like anything was going to stick.

There was some snow and ice showers, but I wouldn't expect the main snows to hit until mid-late October. That's usually when the red-eye run hits, and they tend to have snow in the last weekend before most of the area is closed for wheeled vehicles and saved for snowmobiles.

3 1/2 or 4 hours south east of you, about 20 minutes outside of Ellensburg.
